Salisbury Rowan Sports Hall of Fame
Our Mission
 The Salisbury Rowan Sports Hall of Fame honors individuals and/or teams, living or deceased, who are native to, or have worked or performed in Rowan County. The inductees must be of good character; must have made significant contributions to the dimension of sports by their participation and performance; and must have made a positive impact on sports locally, regionally, nationally or internationally.

Hall of Fame Memorial
Scouts from Troop #360, Moore's Chapel Church, present the colors at the Hall of Fame monument dedication.The Hall of Fame Memorial was dedicated on May 14, 2005 at Salisbury Community Park, 935 Hurley School Road. A brick walkway leading to the monument lists the names of past inductees and their years of induction. The monument and walkway were funded by the Hurley Trammell Foundation and the Salisbury Park Partners Team.

Nominations of individuals to the Salisbury Rowan Sports Hall of Fame are accepted on a continuous basis. The deadline for submission for the Class of 2009 is March 10, 2009.
