FEATURED PROGRAM - Dillingham Martial Arts at City Park Center

Dillingham School of Martial Arts is a premier martial arts program that encompasses character development through self-discipline, self- respect, self-control and respect for others.  This program, now in its fourth year at City Park Recreation Center is led by Sensei Larry Dillingham and his wife Sandy.  Sensei Larry is a fourth degree black belt in sparring, a five time tri-state champion, a world competitor, vice-chair of the Dojo Organization and brings over thirty (30) years of competitive and instructional experience to this program.  Sensei Larry has also created many successful clubs throughout the eastern United States and continues to host and bring many clubs to different tournament competitions across the area including the Foothills Karate Classic that is held annually in Rowan County.  Classes are held at City Park Recreation Center every Tuesday and Thursday.  Youth and Teen classes are held from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and adult classes are held from 7:00-8:00 p.m.  The cost per month is $50.00 with a one-time registration fee of $10.00 for new members.
