Zoning Administration
The Development Services Division is
responsible for the enforcement of the City of Salisbury Zoning Ordinance including
building setbacks, parking requirements, landscaping and signs, and Group Developments as
well as staffing the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Any questions regarding the
ordinance can be directed to the Zoning Administrator at 110 North Main Street, or by
telephone at 704.638.5210.

Amendment (Rezoning, Conditional Districts) &
Text Amendment Petitions
Rezoning requests whether in the form of
map or text amendments are handled by the Planning Services Division. Requests for
rezoning petitions or general rezoning questions can be directed to the Planning
Department, 217 South Main Street, or by telephone at
704.638.5244. In addition to
processing rezoning requests, the Planning Services Division also staffs the Salisbury
Planning Board.
