The McNeely-Strachan House, built ca. 1820 with additions in 1859 and 1911, is one of the most historic houses in Salisbury. The house has features of the Federal, Greek Revival, and High Victorian styles in its 2 1/2 story structure with four exterior chimneys, steep hip roof, and elegant 2-tier cast-iron porch with fine trellis-like details.

This house was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
