Red Ribbon Awareness – Honoring Two of Salisbury’s Bravest

In Memory of Salisbury Firefighter Victor A. Isler and Salisbury Firefighter Justin Edward Monroe

Salisbury Fire Department Chaplain Dan Peters, working in conjunction with the NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation (www.ncfff.org) offered red ribbons to attendees at a March 8th, 4 pm media briefing at Salisbury Fire Station #1, 514 E. Innes Street. Peters explained to those in attendance, “These ribbons, received through an anonymous donation to the NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation, will serve as a reminder to fellow firefighters, citizens and the Salisbury-Rowan community that our two fallen brothers will not be forgotten.” Complimentary ribbons will be available to citizens at the fire station address above and at participating local establishments. Citizens are asked to tie these ribbons onto their car antennas or to display in a prominent location to honor our two fallen brothers.

The location listing for these Red Ribbon distribution sites will be evolving over the coming days. Please check back often for updates and continue to pray for our fire fighter families.
