The Tourism and Cultural Development Commission serves as the appointed body for tourism and cultural development for the City of Salisbury. The Commission suggests policies to the City Council and staff within its authority and serves as a liaison between the City of Salisbury, the tourism industry, cultural organizations, tourists, and citizens of the community.
 
Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. in the Gateway Building, 204 East Innes Street.
 
Special Requirements:  Membership is comprised of three members affiliated with businesses that collect occupancy tax and three members active in the promotion of travel and tourism as well as one member who serves on the Rowan County TDA, one At-large member and one member of the City Council.
