The customer service award is shared between two Quint companies on "C" Shift. Fire crews responded to a fire alarm activation at the Veterans Administration Medical Center for a sprinkler activation. No fire was present, but a sprinkler head was flowing. Quint 3 was first in with Captain Mark Thompson, Engineer Ron Herion, and FCS Eric Bost. They were assisted by Quint 4 with Captain Spry, Engineer Quillman, and FCS Jeff Miller. These two crews worked to help VAMC personnel remove water from the building and relocate some office items to prevent damage. Congratulations to these crews for providing excellent customer service.
