Customer Service of the Year

The Customer Service Committee members are: Division Chief Bo Geter, Battalion Chief Chris Kepley and Senior Office Assistant Tammy File. This committee chose Captain Marshall Moore as our winner of the year for 2007. We felt that he demonstrated excellent customer service in his daily tasks to the community, as well as to our internal customers. These traits made him our choice for 2007 Customer Service of the Year.

On one notable incident, he assisted an elderly lady by giving her his cell phone number after she asked for directions for an alternate road route to a neighboring town. He gave her instructions for a back route, and then told her to call him if she had any problems. He then shared his cell phone number with her. He then requested her to call him when she arrived at her destination. Marshall wanted to make sure she had arrived safe and sound.

Captain Moore has been noticed on several occasions giving excellent customer service and this is was just an example of how he helps citizens out daily.
