Salisbury Fire Department is a permanent Child Safety Seat Checking Station
 

Clinic

When: Fridays from 13:00 to 16:00

Where: 514  E. Innes St (Station 1)

Pull in at the back of the station off of E. Council Street

Please have the child with you for the check

Please call Salisbury Fire Station 1 at (704) 638-5351 to make an appointment. Scheduling an appointment will ensure a car seat technician is here to install your seat.

 

Permanent Child Safety Seat Checking Station Provides:

A permanent location for parents/caregivers to be educated about Child Passenger Safety (CPS)

Child restraints checked to ensure they are installed and used correctly

Educational source for the community

 

The funding for this program was from the North Carolina Department of Insurance (NCDOI), The Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM), and the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program.

This program is part of the ROWAN SAFE KIDS mission to prevent injury to children
