August 3, 2006: There was a MVA at Mooresville Rd and Sunset Dr. The two occupants, Mrs. Georgia Bowyer and Teresa Nail, had just left the grocery store with their purchases. They were involved in a side-impact crash and the van rolled over. Mrs. Georgia Bowyer's  groceries were lying in the roadway. The crew from Quint 2 picked up her food and took it back to the station, with the idea that Mrs. Bowyers would could come by and pick up her food. It was 2030 hours and she hadn’t come by yet to pick them up. Engineer Lancaster called Ms. Bowyer and told her he would take her groceries to her on Southern Lane. He told her that her groceries were on the way. She was very grateful that someone was bringing them to her.
