Support Services Captain, Shelia S. Lingle is a 23 year veteran of the Salisbury Police Department. During her tenure with the department she has served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Operations Sergeant, Sergeant of the Narcotics Unit, Patrol Operations Lieutenant (District Commander), Criminal Investigations Lieutenant and Hostage Negotiator for the department's Special Response Team (SRT).
Captain Lingle is a graduate of North Rowan High School and Pfeiffer College (Criminal Justice). In addition, she is a graduate of the Criminal Investigators Academy at the North Carolina Justice Academy and holds an Advanced Law Enforcement Certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission.
