 Deputy Chief Steven Mark Whitley

 


Chief Whitley began his career with the Salisbury Police Department in April 1982 serving in various assignments including uniformed patrol officer, criminal investigator, drug interdiction team supervisor, police district supervisor and police district commander.

Chief Whitley was promoted to Deputy Chief in September 2003 and oversees the daily law enforcement operations for the City of Salisbury. He also commands the Special Response Team (SRT) and Police Ceremonial Honor Guard.
