- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Have no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude
- Pass zero tole rance (illegal) drug screen
Meet the medical requirements set forth in NFPA 1582
Written Exam: Applicants who pass the written exam move to Agility Test.
Physical Ability Test: Applicants are graded on a pass/fail basis.
Background Check: Applicant's criminal record, credit, history of employment, and driving record are checked.
Applicant Interview: All eligible applicants are inerviewed from a panel.
Conditional Offer of Employment: .
Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Medical screening in accordance with NFPA 1001.
