City Council is the elected legislative body for the City of Salisbury. The City of Salisbury is governed by a five-member Council who is elected at-large for two-year terms. The City of Salisbury is a Council-Manager form of municipal government.
The City Manager serves as the chief executive officer for the City. The Manager is appointed by the City Council and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City and implementation of the goals established by City Council.
The City Clerk maintains and preserves the permanent and legal records of the City including ordinances, resolutions, and minutes of City Council meetings, contracts, deeds and other legal documents.
